Dwarfs incoming!

STL Chili and STL Bandit are paired, and finally after a very-long week, they’ve shown interest in one another! Thus, in approximately three weeks, Stellar Rattery is excited to formally announce the official beginning of our DWARF MARTEN LINE!

Bandit & Chili were the result of pairing STL Lunafreya with her father, MMRS Taco Cat, to produce STL’s first in-house dwarfs, coming from the Bluey litter! Bandit was our only buck produced and we chose to keep him back to become the progenitor of this very special line. His two dwarf sisters, Bluey & Socks, are reserved for my mentor for her assessment.

Working with dwarfs has been a dream of mine since I started breeding over two years ago, and I’m SO excited to finally get to this point! It’s been a long time in the works, and I’m thrilled to get here! Crossing fingers & toes that Bandit x Chili give us several more dwarfs for the program. Ideally, I’d love to ultimately shift to keeping only dwarf bucks to pair with dwarf-carrier or dwarf females in the future. It’s truly been a dream to get to this point, and I’m so thankful to continue working with the amazing genetics inherited from my mentor’s marten silvermane line <3

Bucks produced here at Stellar Rattery will be fully assessed and possibly held back for my program as my first choice. Females will be offered first to my mentor- and then available to the public on strict Pet-Only contracts. Any bucks I choose not to keep for my program will be offered to the public on the same strict Pet-Only contracts.
